Prairie Summit Capital was founded by Trevor Elgar and TBD, two Western Canadians who share a common history and a long-term interest in building and operating businesses.

Both grew up in Saskatchewan before making Alberta home more than 25 years ago.

Our purpose

We are looking to acquire a business that has already demonstrated that it works.

Rather than starting from scratch, our objective is to find a strong established company, become its long-term owners and continue building on the foundation created by the previous owner.

We believe good businesses are built over years—not quarters.

Our focus is therefore on long-term ownership, continuity and sustainable growth.

We intend to be direct, transparent and respectful throughout the acquisition process.

For owners considering retirement or a change in direction, we want to provide a straightforward alternative: a buyer who is interested in the business itself and committed to its future.

We are currently seeking our first acquisition and are actively building relationships with business owners, advisors and intermediaries across Alberta.
